Caramel Collagen Cold Brew Recipe
This caramel collagen cold brew keeps the routine simple: cold brew, one scoop of unflavored collagen peptides, and a little caramel.
Ingredients
- 4 oz cold brew concentrate
- 4 oz water
- 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides
- 2–4 oz milk of choice
- 1–2 teaspoons caramel syrup, to taste
- Ice
Optional caramel cold foam
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon caramel syrup
Directions
- Add the collagen peptides to the water and stir until smooth.
- Add the cold brew concentrate and caramel syrup.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour the coffee mixture over the ice.
- Add milk.
- If making cold foam, froth the cream, milk, and caramel until thickened, then spoon it over the top.
Why mix the collagen with water first?
Because this recipe uses cold brew concentrate, the dilution water gives the collagen a chance to disperse before it hits the ice. It is an easy way to reduce clumping in a cold drink.
Make it sweeter or lighter
Use more or less caramel based on your taste. You can also skip the cold foam entirely and keep the drink closer to a standard iced coffee.
Adda it
One scoop of Adda Boost provides 11 g of collagen and is unflavored, so the caramel and coffee stay in charge of the drink.
